Simmonds & Narita to present at RMA 2017 Executive Summit in Lake Tahoe, California.
On August 1, 2017 and on August 3, 2017, Tomio Narita will give two presentations at the 2017 Receivables Management Association Executive Summit in Lake Tahoe, California. On August 1st, Mr. Narita will join a panel entitled “Meaningful Involvement In Your Service Provider Oversight Program” and will discuss recent case law and regulatory actions bearing on the “meaningful involvement” doctrine, and best practices for overseeing attorneys who engage in collection on behalf of debt buyers. On August 3rd, Mr. Narita will join a panel entitled “Top Litigation Risks For Debt Buyers And How To Avoid Them” and will discuss litigation strategies for avoiding and defeating common claims asserted against debt buyers.
